Happy New Year!

2025 was… wild. I feel like every day and every week had headlines that just gave everyone emotional whiplash. Objectively a horrific year for so many people. I’'m really hoping that this year is the year of pulling through all the horror, and connecting on a different level all of us didn’t know we could.

I feel especially lucky to still be alive and still have this beautiful job, surrounded by wonderful friends and family. I have incredible gratitude, and it only grows as I get older.

I’ve been touch and go about creating art for years, and I finally feel settled and more focused and I want to be putting out more art again. I use to raffle art for fundraising a few years back, and stopped probably because the last few years on an international scale has been disheartening to say the least. Hard to keep up and not feel totally useless in the grand scheme of things, but now I’m ready to get back into it.

I’ll be working on painted totebags, Home screen printed shirts, monotypes, ballpoint drawings, etc…. anything I can do to get back into fundraising. Truthfully, I’m trying to crush a lot of my personal outstanding debt, so some raffles I will be splitting them between a chosen fundraising campaign, and myself.

If you have a favourite local or international organization that you would like to suggest, I would be happy to hear all about it! So far, off of the top of my head I was thinking about Distro Disco, PCRF, land defence ( the only one I know is Gidimt’en Camp) .

I’ve been able to give more this season thanks to all the folks who have been keeping me busy an getting tattooed. I feel like I can try and do more in that realm through making art!
